Will the stairlift work without a seatbelt?

We would always recommend the seatbelt is used but the vast majority of stair lifts will work without putting the seatbelt on. However, some models do offer a seatbelt isolation switch, meaning that, if the seatbelt isn’t fastened, the stair lift will not travel.
