Occupational Therapy Training
Helping people improve their mobility and regain their independence has been the foundation of what we do for over 35 years.
Occupational therapists also share the same goal, to help improve peoples lives.
That’s why we support local councils , and those working towards their CPD with our Occupational Therapy training days. Learn more about them below, and decide if you’d like to book a session in for your team.
Why Attend Our Occupational Therapy
Training Days
As an occupational therapist, your recommendations shape how safely and independently someone can live at home. Our expertise in mobility solutions strengthens your assessment skills, your knowledge, and gives you greater confidence in making the right choices for your clients.
Experiencing stairlifts first hand makes a real difference. In our showroom, you can try a range of straight and curved stairlifts, mobility lifts, and other mobility products while exploring key features and learning how different models perform in real home environments. This practical insight helps you make informed, accurate recommendations.
As independent specialists, we are not tied to one manufacturer. That means we provide information across multiple mobility solutions, helping you understand what truly works for each individual client. Our focus is on supporting better assessments and achieving the right mobility outcome every time.
What Are
The Benefits Of Attending
Our training is designed to support your ongoing professional development while strengthening your confidence in stairlift assessments. By gaining practical, up to date knowledge of modern stairlift and home mobility solutions, you can make recommendations with clarity and reassurance, backed by real product understanding. The good news is, your training with us counts towards your CPD.
With hands on experience and insight into multiple manufacturers and models, you will be better equipped to match the right solution to the right client. This reduces unsuitable recommendations which can cause issues later on, avoids delays, and ensures assessments lead to practical, workable outcomes.
Ultimately, the goal is safer homes and greater independence. A well informed recommendation leads to a stairlift solution that fits properly, functions correctly and genuinely improves daily life. When the right product is specified from the start, everyone benefits.
What Our
Training Sessions Include
We know that one solution doesn’t fit all, which is why we begin with a clear overview of modern stairlifts and other home mobility solutions, including straight and curved stairlifts, home lifts, and key features to look out for. This gives you a strong foundation in how today’s systems are designed, installed and used in real home environments.
You will have the opportunity to see and try multiple models in our showroom. Experiencing the operation, seating positions, controls and safety functions first hand provides valuable insight into what your clients will experience day to day.
We explore the practical considerations involved in recommending a stairlift, including staircase layout, user ability, space limitations and long term suitability. The focus is on helping you make confident, well informed assessment decisions.
Understanding common issues and basic servicing considerations helps you set realistic expectations for clients and carers. We explain how stairlifts are maintained and what support looks like after installation.
You will have direct access to our mobility experts, giving you the opportunity to ask detailed questions and discuss real world scenarios. Open discussion is encouraged so you leave with clarity and confidence.
