Location:

We have multiple depots but ideally based in –

• Cambridge and surrounding areas.
• North of Baldock within 60 miles of the office.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving license (essential).
• Clean DBS/CRB check.
• Transferable skills and willingness to retrain in lift engineering.
• Strong troubleshooting and technical abilities, with a passion for problem-solving.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with mobility equipment (this is not essential but nice to have).
• 18th Edition Electrical Qualification (this is not essential but nice to have).
• Level 3 Inspection & Testing Qualification (this is not essential but a nice to have).

At EMS Lifts Ltd, we’ve been providing lifting solutions for over 30 years, specialising in helping disabled and vulnerable individuals live with greater independence. Our engineering team is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and servicing of mobility lift equipment across the Home Counties, East Anglia and London.

• Install, maintain, and service a wide range of lift and mobility equipment.
• Install our modular ramp system outdoors.
• Work across the Home Counties providing field support.
• Deliver excellent customer service and exceed client expectations, particularly for our vulnerable users.
• Be a team player, working closely with our skilled engineers to provide reliable, high-quality service.
• Possible potential for electrical work to supplement our installs and electrical work for our Building Works division, if you already have a qualification.
