Are you an experienced stairlift engineer looking for a role where your skill is genuinely valued?

At EMS Lifts, we are growing and looking for a high-quality engineer to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in stairlifts, home lifts, or through-floor lifts who wants to work for a respected independent company with strong standards, a supportive team, and real long-term opportunity.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well with customers, and can deliver a high standard of installation, servicing, fault finding, and repair.

More About

Depending on your background, this role can suit:

• An experienced stairlift or a TFL / home lift installer
• An experienced field service / breakdown engineer
• An engineer confident in fault finding, repairs, and part replacement
• An engineer who enjoys a mix of installation and service work

Your day-to-day work may include:

• Installing stairlifts, through-floor lifts, and home lifts
• Servicing and planned maintenance
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs
• Part replacements and system testing
• Completing job reports accurately
• Delivering excellent customer service in customers’ homes

What we are looking for:

• Proven experience working on stairlifts, home lifts, or through-floor lifts
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Good mechanical and electrical understanding
• Safe working practices and attention to detail
• Professional, customer-friendly manner
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong English communication skills (spoken and written)

Nice to have (but not essential)
• Experience across multiple manufacturers
• 18th Edition or relevant electrical qualifications
• Experience in domestic mobility equipment environments
• LOLER / lift industry-related experience
