My stairs have a half-landing, common in a lot of older Essex properties, is a stairlift still possible?

Yes. Many period and Victorian-era homes across towns like Colchester and Chelmsford have staircases with a half-landing or turn partway up. These are fitted with a curved stairlift, where the rail is custom-built to follow the exact shape of your stairs, including any landings, bends or narrow sections. A home survey will confirm the layout and give you an accurate quote.
