How do EMS Lifts ensure the quality of reconditioned stairlifts?
Every reconditioned unit undergoes a full refurbishment and safety verification before installation.
What this includes:
- Multi-point inspection of the carriage, motor/drive, gearbox and electronics
- Replacement of wear items as needed (e.g., batteries, rollers, brushes, covers)
- Battery performance and charging tests
- Safety system checks (obstacle sensors, seatbelt isolation if fitted, emergency stop)
- Rail made to fit your staircase (reconfigured or made-to-measure) and alignment checks
Bench and on-site ride testing prior to handover
You also receive clear documentation of the work completed and the model/serial details for future service.
