EMS are Which Accredited

Here at EMS, we have managed to build up a number of glowing reviews on Which?, allowing us to provide concrete evidence that we can be trusted to supply and install a large range of stairlifts in Hertfordshire and many other locations with the utmost professionalism and customer care. Whether people are looking for brand new models or need some important repairs made, we have always endeavored to supply the very services people require both promptly and professionally.

So, why do we want to enhance our reputation on Which? Well, this is a platform that’s 100% independent and never influenced by third parties. This means they can provide highly authentic reviews that accurately reflect the quality of services and goods being supplied by businesses. They are huge proponents for genuine consumer advice that can help alleviate the possibility of people being handed poor workmanship. Put simply, Which? stands for simpler, fairer, and safer environments in which consumers can make informed decisions about how to spend their money.

Having this accreditation in place also means we have managed to establish more transparency with the services we provide around our home county of Hertfordshire and the South East. We are considered a trusted trader across the region, having been endorsed by Hertfordshire trading standards. In addition to the standard certification, we have also been DBS checked, offering potential customers comfort in the knowledge that all our employees are suitable for working with vulnerable people.

One of our most recent reviews saw a customer in Hertfordshire reap heavy praise for repairs we made to a stairlift within their home. The lift in question is a vital part of her daily life, since this allows her to gain access to her bedroom in the evenings, and has generally managed to make her property feel less restrictive. We were called around late in the evening and discovered that the lift control wasn’t working correctly. After we uncovered the route of the problem, everything was put back into order ready for immediate use once again.

“I am a full-time wheelchair user and rely on my Wessex through floor lift – bought from, installed & maintained by EMS lifts – to carry me in my wheelchair from the living room up into my bedroom at night.. (Having this lift improves my quality of living enormously, as it would have been a retrograde step to turn one of the two downstairs rooms into my bedroom & exclude me from access to 50% of the house)! At 10pm yesterday, ready to make my way to bed, I discovered my lift control was unable to bring the lift down from upstairs! A quick call to EMS 24/7 Service resulted in the Engineer’s prompt arrival, the fault located, and expertly rectified. The Engineer worked well within Covid-19 safety guidelines, wearing a mask & cleaning the lift inside and wherever the repair had necessitated his touching. I was extremely grateful for his expertise and for the out-of-hours service provided by your company. Five stars have been gladly awarded for this excellent service. Very many thanks to EMS Lifts and their Engineer! You have my complete confidence every time and one couldn’t ask for better than that!”

We also managed to help a gentleman in Hertfordshire who needed a stairlift installed after he started to develop difficulty with mounting his stairs. This led to EMS being contacted, and then our general sales manager paying a visit the very next day, ready to supply a quotation. After just three days, we managed to install the lift and provided the means for this customer to access the upper areas of their property with far less commotion.

“My husband was having trouble mounting the stairs and was subsequently taken into hospital for investigation. I considered a Stairlift would be the solution so contacted EMS. Their friendly General Sales Manager visited the next day, explained everything, and gave me a quote which I subsequently accepted. The lift was installed 3 days later. The engineer was a good conscientious worker, friendly and explained the mechanics to me very clearly. I am very satisfied with the service provided from beginning to end and am very happy that I chose EMS. Their prompt service enabled my husband to return home in the knowledge that the stairs were no longer a problem. Thank you EMS.”

As we continue to supply stairlifts in Essex, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and many other areas in the South East of England, we are always looking at how we can continue our honest approach with customer service so that people are always 100% satisfied with what we can offer. If you would like to learn more about any our services then feel free to get in contact today.

Have you used EMS for any stairlift installations or repairs? Then we would love you to post any feedback on Which! As always, we want to ensure we are supplying quality services that meet your expectations no matter what we are tasked with completing.
